Part 1 Section 1 – Change Is Coming
The essay gives some general factual reasons for needed legal controls on behaviors demonstrated otherwise uncontrollable for thirty (30) years. Experience is stronger than political promises, or propaganda.
The “amendments” suggested in the links below are too many, too detailed, and finally, impractical.
So why go to all the trouble to even present them? If there are no legal changes made to the U.S. Constitution, the Congress will create and the Supreme Court will interpret as they have–in favor of our literal and practical equivalent of the ancient Greek form of government, oligarchy. There is an essay forthcoming on this direct parallel.
What is at stake, though most Americans fail to see this, is the continuation of a constitutional democracy. We have a battle now to preserve our very nation’s foundations.
